Planning Ministry Activities
This particular unit Planning Ministry Activities utilizes the Community Service unit “CHCGROUP3C Plan and Conduct Group Activities”. It is ideally suited to developing the skills requited in ministry to plan, prepare and conduct group activities for your church.
Church activities are group activities and as such the activities of a local church can bind the most fragmented group of people into a single minded group of people. Poorly planned activities can leave a church or group within the church fragmented and disheartened.
You are required to demonstrate your competency in planning and conducting a group activities through to a significant event taking the issues below into account in your planning and provided evidence of your competency in this particular field.
Issues To Be Addressed:
- CHCGROUP3C 1 Address resourcing issues for group activities
- CHCGROUP3C 2 Coordinate a group planning process
- CHCGROUP3C 3 Manage group processes including responding to conflict
- CHCGROUP3C 4 Evaluate group activities
To help you gather the evidence required we suggest that you collate the information over a period of not less than 2 months and compile it with a report addressing the issues below.
This information, along with the multiple choice questionnaire from your text book should provide sufficient evidences of competency.
