The future of our church is exciting. Our vision is a snapshot of this future, and it is this vision that unites many diverse people towards a single goal.

Our purpose goes way beyond just having meetings or going through the tradition of church. Rather, we see the local church as the instrument of God in our generation to bring hope and love to the people of our city, nation, and the world.

The passion of our church is to see people who are far from God discover His love and purpose for their lives, and then equip them to reach their potential.

The purpose statement of why the church exists was given to us in the Bible. It is known as the Great Commission. It is where Jesus gave us His mission statement:

Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

This describes the heartbeat of why we exist - to disciple people.

We articulate it this way: The vision of Lifeplace is to equip people to be the church seven days a week.

We see a city within a city, with multiple generations and multiple nationalities coming together to be a blessing to the community, helping the poor, influencing the marketplace, strengthening the family, and being a beacon of light to our nation.

The adventure and mandate to build the house of God is amazing. Our hope is that you would join us on this life changing journey.

Relevance means we want to be cutting edge, using technology and innovation to impact the post-modern society of Brisbane. Depth means have substance behind everything we do. It means not settling for entertainment on a Sunday, but believing for life transformation as we experience God and are taught from the Bible.
